This is the second announcement of a workshop intended to bring together active researchers in PN theory and in NR to make progress on the PN-NR interface. The plan is to have invited talks in the morning that highlight the central questions and problems, and working sessions in the afternoon where workers can share ideas, argue, run codes, do PN expansions, etc. There may also be the opportunity for a SMALL number of short (15 min) contributed talks on late breaking work that is relevant to the workshop. You can indicate a willingness to give a contributed talk on the registration page. The SOC will select the most interesting and timely ones. Note that the deadline for booking a room at the workshop rate is Jan. 7 for one of the hotels and Jan. 17 for the other. Space for the working sessions is limited, so in order to keep the numbers reasonable, participation in the workshop is by invitation only. We hope to have partial travel support for most participants, with some priority for younger researchers. However, to guarantee your participation in the workshop and consideration for travel support, you MUST register by the deadline of January 17. After that, participation will depend on the availability of space and funds. If you feel you are working actively in this area and can contribute to the workshop, but were not invited, send an email here. |
